How do you find the Realtor that’s right for you? You certainly have options – there are more than 50,000 Realtors in the GTA. The tricky part is narrowing down that list to find someone who truly has your success in mind. Your Realtor should be competent, experienced, knowledgeable and truly understand your goals.
I became a Realtor because I don’t just want to sell homes, I want to build relationships. I want to understand what makes my clients tick. As a confidant and trusted friend rather than simply a sales person, my clients can find the home that’s right for them without the gimmicks or sales tactics. On more than one occasion, I’ve actively talked my clients out of buying a particular home. It all boils down to the four values that are the bedrock of my business:
1. Truly Understand My Clients’ Goals.
2. Treat people the way I would like to be treated.
3. Do what I say I’m going to do.
4. Always be thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given.
They’re simple and wouldn’t it be nice if we always received this type of service? I actively try to earn the respect of my clients and peers in everything I do. After all, buying or selling a home is more than just property – it’s emotional and potentially one of your biggest financial decisions. When the stakes are this high, why hire an agent you can’t respect and trust?
